About Me

Howdy folks!

My name is Travis. I’ve always been a bit better at communicating via the written (or typed) word so I figured I’d give this whole blogging thing a try.

I don’t claim to be an expert in anything (pretty damn good maybe), but I do think that we are all entitled to our own opinions and that is exactly what I’ll be writing here–just my opinions.

Now I have lived a pretty interesting existence (I think). I’ve travelled the world, played college ball, enjoyed the agony of defeat and the joy of victory on and off the rugby pitch, gone to school way too much (and have way too much in student loans), lived all over the country, but most of all I was lucky enough to find someone willing to say “I do.”

Together we have two awesome kids, Jackson and Addison. As circumstances would have it, I’ve ended up being the stay at home parent (darn economy and poor degree choices).

As the stay-at-home I get the pleasure of being around and with my kiddos all the time; something I wouldn’t trade for the world. However, as a guy and a dad I feel the need to do whatever I can in order to provide for these guys.

That is what I will primarily be writing about here; my misadventures as a stay-at-home Dad/Mr. Mom, trying my best to raise these guys, trying to find something or someone willing to pay me for doing something I’m good at (as long as its legal), and anything else that I’ve learned/experienced/thought of while hanging out with my kiddos.

So be nice in your comments; I’m doing my best here. Rest assured as well that whatever you may think about something I write no harm ever came to (nor have I ever put them in a position where they could be harmed) to the kiddos in our misadventures. Me on the other hand; well, that’s another story…

So if you want to help the cause at all visit any or all of the sites I work on as often as humanly possible (please)!
